3,600 s.f. Dental Office Building
 
Azimuth : architecture designed the 3,600 square foot dental office building for White
Rock Dental Group in a older East Dallas area experiencing significant revitalization. The
building exterior expresses the Texas vernacular through the use of regional, natural
materials, including local brick and stone with touches of cedar. Consistent use of
finishes carries the theme through from the exterior to the interior.
 
Both full height and clerestory windows around the perimeter of the building bring
natural light into the space, capitalizing on the nature surrounding the White Rock Lake
area. The interior design utilizes a calming, natural palette balancing warm and cool
materials and finishes—rustic wood flooring, cool slate / blue textural carpetting, warm
sand wallcovering, brushed aluminum window and door trim and frosted glass accents.
The resulting building is comfortable, with just a touch of modern.
