Azimuth : architecture provided architecture and interior design for the physician office
suite within the Cityview II MOB (also designed by Azimuth). Taking cues from the lead
physcians, Azimuth infused their fresh, modern approach to health care in every aspect
of their space. Clerestory windows enable natural light to penetrate deep into the office,
while luminous walls and opaque trackless glass give the illusion of natural light in more
core locations. In the reception, patients are directed through the space with a large
sweeping curve in both the flooring and the drywall ceiling. An interior-lit check-in desk
hovers over earth-friendly bamboo flooring providing both direction as well as interest.
Both staff and patients benefit from circulation efficiencies seen in office and exam
room adjacencies complete with imbedded central nurse station locations.
